The latest modality in dental treatment, lasers can be used in dentistry a by itself or as an adjunct to other treatments to improve the treatment outcomes.
Lasers can be used for the treatment of
Sensitive teeth: generally, your dentist might prescribe you a desensitizing toothpaste or might recommend a root canal. Such treatments are no longer required. One session and your sensitivity will be gone off immediately.
Loose moving teeth: Usually recommended for extraction, a loose moving tooth can be made firm using lasers. The process involves removing all the dead tissue and infection from between the tooth and the gums which helps in the gums joining back to the tooth and the tooth becomes firm again.
At Dentop we have undertaken this process multiple times and in certain instances also placed bridges on the teeth that were recommended to be removed
Swellings: Lasers can be used effectively to reduce/remove swellings around teeth and jaw
As an adjunct for root canal treatment
